Lisdoonvarna Community Gardening workshop 

Join us on September 24th, at a community gardening workshop in Lisdoonvarna. A project which brings together residents in Lisdoonvarna to create a space where people can grow food, enhance biodiversity, build community and connect across cultures. 

This project is free-of-charge to all participants, with a wholesome lunch provided. 

Full Event Description:

Come together to help build a community garden space in Lisdoonvarna. Everyone is welcome, even if you have no gardening or DIY experience, we will teach you how to learn some new skills! 

We are turning this community garden in to a shared outdoor space where people can come together to grow food, learn practical skills, and build connections with their neighbours. A space that offers an accessible, welcoming environment for people of all backgrounds to contribute, collaborate, and take pride in a space they have created together. 

On the day we will be planting trees, build raised beds, weaving willow fences, making bug hotels and bird boxes, sowing seeds and planting vegetables, and much more to bring the community garden to life!

At the end of the day we will all celebrate our hard work and enjoy a wholesome lunch together

What will I take away?

By the end of the series you'll have:

• Practical skills in food growing, biodiversity, and sustainable building
• New connections with people from across the community
• A shared garden space you helped create — and can keep using
