Tools for Conflict with Aoife Hammond

A 2 hour workshop on conflict in community groups.

Conflict is a normal part of working together, but it can be hard to know what to do when it shows up. This session looks at why conflict happens and how it escalates, using a framework called the Ladder of Inference.

We will also cover a practical method for working through conflict once it has come up, based on transformative conflict tools . This includes time to practise the approach in small groups, and we will look at a conflict resolution policy for your groups.

By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of how conflict develops, and a method you can use to work through it with someone else.
