Transcience: Queer Sheds Clare x Design Bank
An evening of sound, skillsharing and solidarity as part of Clare Pride

Transcience is an evening of experimental improvised music, practical skillshares, and community at the Design Bank, Miltown Malbay.

The theme of transcience reflects change and impermanence - ideas explored through sound, making, and conversation during the night.

It’ll be an open space for experimenting with sound and sharing skills for anyone to join - with sets from Aoife Hammond, Molly Sterling and Llewyn Maire, a collage skillshare workshop led by Molly, and a herbal tea skillshare with Nikki Neervens.
Open Call: Local artists and makers are invited to respond to the theme of transcience by bringing their own sounds, skills, or demonstrations to share on the night.

Fundraiser for Save.Gaza
All proceeds will go to Save.Gaza, a youth group delivering clean water and food to communities in Gaza.
If you cannot attend, you can still support by purchasing a solidarity ticket.

Pre-Event Skillshare
Before the event, there will be a PA and sound system setup skillshare, open to anyone who wants to learn how to set up and run the sound for live events.

Queer Sheds Clare is a space for sharing skills, space, and solidarity. It creates opportunities for queer people in rural Ireland to connect, make things together, and support one another through creativity and practical skill-sharing.

About the Design Bank

The Design Bank in Miltown Malbay is a shared creative space for artists, makers, and designers. It supports collaboration, experimentation, and skill-sharing through workshops, events, and community projects.
