Lasraí - Opening Night of Rekindle

Lasraí opens Rekindle 2025 with an evening dedicated to traditional music, dance, and the sharing of cultural skills, featuring Paddy Keenan, Aoife Kelly, Áindrias de Staic, Seán Lyons, Edwina Guckian, Dave Munnelly, Róisín El Cherif, Nora Casey, and more. Showcasing some of Ireland’s most esteemed traditional artists, the night celebrates those who promoting our cultural heritage and  keeping living traditions alive through performance, storytelling and sharing skills.

📅 Friday 15th August – Common Knowledge, Kilfenora
6:30pm – Opening Panel with Harrison Gardner, Aoife Kelly, and Edwina Guckian on engaging community through the sharing of traditional skills
7:30pm – Sounds of Kilfenora presentation by Aoife Kelly
8:00pm – Concert with Paddy Keenan, Áindrias de Staic, Seán Lyons, Aoife Kelly, plus performances from Edwina Guckian with Dave Munnelly, and Róisín El Cherif with Nora Casey

Rekindle Festival of Lost Skills

The following day, Saturday 16th August, Rekindle brings Parliament Street, Ennistymon to life with a full day of heritage skills, demonstrations, workshops, music, and céilí. Run by Common Knowledge and part of National Heritage Week, the festival is all about celebrating and passing on the skills, stories, and traditions that connect us across generations.
