Next up for Queer Sheds Clare is a potluck dinner at 6.30pm on Tuesday 23rd April at Common Knowledge, and you’re invited!
This is a chance to reconnect, meet new people, and hear what’s coming up for Queer Sheds Clare. We’ve a busy year ahead, including the Faoin Tuath Festival in May, and we’re excited to grow the group and build something special together.
If you’ve got a skill you’d like to share, or are just curious about what we’re up to, this is a great time to join in. We are inviting interested folks from the LGBTQ+ community in Clare and the surrounding areas to come together, eat, chat and brainstorm ideas for the Queer Sheds 2025.
Bring a dish if you can, or just come as you are. And feel free to pass this on to someone who might be interested.
Queer Sheds started in 2024 as a 6 month pilot project with an aim to bring LBGTQ+ people together in Clare to build community, share skills and tackle social isolation - As part of the programme we hosted 8 skills sharing and collaborative and a rural queer skillsharing festival 'Faoin Tuath'.
Many thanks to Clare County County for funding this project as part of the Dormant Accounts fund.
